Stronger Than Concrete, Cheaper Than Asphalt
In 2008 Complete General Construction expanded it’s already extensive construction capabilities by adding Roller Compacted Concrete (RCC). Since then, we have become one of the leading RCC contractors in Ohio. Our experience ranges from small residential and arterial roadway paving to large warehouse paving and Ohio Turnpike paving.
By having our own portable mixing plant, specialized paver, and highly skilled crew, Complete General can take on any size RCC job with efficiency and consistency and provide a cost-effective pavement to any project.
What is Roller Compacted Concrete?
Roller Compacted Concrete (RCC) is non-reinforced concrete pavement that is placed with a high-density paver and then compacted with vibratory rollers. This placement method is possible due to RCC’s no slump concrete mix design. RCC does not require any forms, hand finishing or reinforcement.
Main Benefits of RCC
- Fast construction
- Open to traffic shortly after placement
- Cost-effective
- Long life cycle
- Holds up better to heavy traffic loads
- Minimal maintenance required
