Columbus Paving
Complete General Construction began as a sewer and sidewalk contractor in 1928. After WWII, Complete General expanded and grew to building roads and paving concrete streets in the Columbus Ohio market. As technology in the concrete construction market changed, so did Complete General. In the early 1960’s, Complete General purchased its first slipform paver, the CMI Town and Country. Slipform paving brought several advantages:
- High productivity
- Lower Cost
- Better Quality
- Higher strengths
- Closer Tolerances
Soon after we expanded again into slipforming curb, sidewalks, and barrier walls.
Today Complete General does a wide range of paving, including Asphalt Paving, Roller Compacted Concrete Paving, and Concrete Paving for both residential and arterial streets, highways, and airports.
